Rescission of Grants Policy
RCSF reserves the right to rescind a grant in part or in its entirety if the grant is determined to be a nonperforming grant or if the grantee organization is not in compliance with or the grant is in any other manner contrary to the policies and procedures of the Foundation.
Grounds for Rescission
A grant may be rescinded under the following circumstances:
- • The grant is determined to be nonperforming
- • The grantee organization is not in compliance with Foundation policies
- • The grant is contrary to the policies and procedures of the Foundation
- • Failure to submit required reports within specified timeframes
- • Misuse of funds or deviation from the approved project scope
Compliance Requirements
Grantees are expected to:
- • Use grant funds solely for the approved purpose
- • Submit all required reports in a timely manner
- • Maintain proper documentation and records
- • Communicate any changes to the project scope or timeline
- • Maintain 501(c)(3) status throughout the grant period
